Barbora Krtickova assumed the role of assistant coach in July of 2016 after serving as a graduate assistant the two prevous years. She served as the Eagles' assistant until June of 2021.

She garnered regional and national honors as a member of the staff during the 2018-19 season as she helped the Eagles to a 20-4 overall record and a trip to the national semifinals. Krtickova was named the ITA/NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year after earning the ITA South Atlantic Assistant Coach of the Year honor. She became the first assistant coach in program history to earn national honors.

In the shortened 2020-21 season Krtickova aided in Emory capturing the school's eighth national title as the Eagles bested Wesleyan (CT), 5-0, in the championship match, with the team finishing with a 10-3 record.

During the 2015-16 campaign, she helped the Eagles claim their second National Championship in the previous three seasons and the seventh overall in program history as Emory defeated Williams College, 5-4, in the championship match. Earlier in the year, Krtickova was honored by the University Athletic Association by being named part of the Coaching Staff of the Year as the team won its fourth consecutive UAA title and 27th in the last 29 seasons.

Krtickova came to Emory after a illustrious collegiate career at Armstrong State University, an NCAA Division II program in Savannah, Georgia.  She helped lead the team to the NCAA Division II National Championship in both 2012 and 2013, while claiming the singles title at the ITA Fall Small College National ‘Super Bowl’ in 2012, and the doubles title at the event in both 2010 and 2012. Krtickova finished her career as the program's all-time leader in overall wins (306), doubles wins (170), and second all-time with 136 singles victories. She was inducted into the ASU Hall of Fame in December of 2017.

Krtickova has also played professionally, reaching WTA rankings of 539^th for doubles and 652^nd for singles, while also winning doubles ITF 10K Tournaments in Budapest, Hungary and Thessalonkiki, Greece. In addition to her playing career, Krtickova has coaching experience both in Greenwich, Connecticut and her native Czech Republic.  She holds a Tennis Coaching Certificate from the Czech National Tennis Association.

Krtickova graduated from Armstrong Atlantic in May of 2014, earning both CoSIDA Academic All-District and D3ADA Academic Achievement Awards.  In May of 2016, she obtained her master's degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State.
