Emory University freshman Theresa Ford broke the school record for the indoor high jump, while competing at the Appalachian Open. Ford cleared a height of 1.68 meters, good for an NCAA provisional qualifying mark and .02 meters better than the previous school record. Her record jump was good for a second-place finish at the meet.
