Emory University junior Lauren Attiah recorded a provisional qualifying mark in the triple jump, while competing at the Cardinal Opener last weekend. Attiah’s triple jump of 11.41 meters was good for second place among the 12 competitors in the event. She also finished second out of 13 athletes in the long jump with a distance of 5.25 meters, her best mark of the season. Attiah rounded out her performance with a season-best throw of 7.93 meters in the shot put, good for a 26th-place finish. She scored a total of 16 points at the Cardinal Opener, helping the Eagles to a third-place team finish.
