Emory University senior Madison Hoeninghausen earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish in the javelin throw at the 2015 University Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday. Hoeninghausen was the runner-up in the event with a career-best throw of 35.67 meters, over a meter improvement on her previous personal-best mark. It marked the first career all-University Athletic Association honor of her career. Hoeninghausen scored eight points for the Eagles to help the squad finish third, marking the team’s 12th-consecutive top-three finish at the meet.
