Emory University junior Julie Williamson improved on her times in a pair of events this season, while in action at the Hilton Garden Innvitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina last weekend. In the 800-meter run, Williamson placed 10th in the event with a time of 2:16.60. The mark was the 11th-fastest by an NCAA Division III competitor in the event this season. Williamson also ran the third leg of the Eagles’ 4x400-meter relay team, which placed eighth at the meet. The relay’s time of 3:56.07 was the second-fastest by a Division III team during the 2014-15 season, and the sixth-fastest time in school history.
