Emory University junior Julie Williamson recorded the second-fastest 800-meter run time in the program’s history at the Georgia Invitational in Athens on Saturday.  Williamson finished ninth in the event with a time of 2:12.45, a 1.24-second improvement on her previous career-best mark, and was second in school history only to Katherine Marshall’s program record of 2:11.99, set at the 1990 NCAA Championships.  The mark ranked as the 28^th-fastest in Division III this season, and the third-fastest in the UAA in 2015.
