John Curtin Named USTFCCCA South/Southeast Region Women's Coach of the Year

Emory University Track and Field Head Coach John Curtin was recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) this week as he was named the South/Southeast Regional Women's Coach of the Year.

This marks the second consecutive season Curtin has been named the USTFCCCA South/Southeast Regional Women's Coach of the Year for the outdoor track & field season and the fifth time in his career. Curtin is currently in his 32nd year with the program.

Curtin guided the Eagles to a No.-1 ranking in the region as well as a national ranking of No.-11 during the outdoor season and will see eight members of the women's team compete at this week's NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
