Seven members of the Emory University Track and Field teams have been selected to compete in the upcoming NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 10th and 11th at North Central College in Naperville, IL.

Junior Gabrielle Stravach and sophomore Dani Bland will participate in individual events for the women with the 4x400m Relay team consisting of junior Erica Goldman, sophomores Dilys Osei, Ariana Newhouse and freshman Kaitlyn Leonard also chosen to represent the Eagles.

Osei, Newhouse and Goldman head back to the NCAA Division III Championships after placing second in the 4x400m Relay at last year's NCAA Indoor Championships. This season the foursome posted a second place finish at the UAA Championships and recorded a season-best time of 3:55.46 at the Tufts Last Chance National Qualifier to qualify for the NCAA meet. They enter with the ninth-best seed time out of 12 relays competing.

Stravach and Bland enter the NCAA Championships after All-UAA finishes last month. Stravach registered a second-place finish with a school record time of 4:57.04 and carries the fifth-best seed time heading into the meet. Bland medaled in both the 55m and 200m, taking second and third respectively. She travels to NCC with the seventh-best 60m seed time (7.72) and 17th-best 200m seed time (25.41). Both marks are personal-bests for the sophomore.

Junior Max Brown will be the lone representative on the men's side, taking part in the mile event. Brown owns the 13th-fastest seed time after clocking in a season-best 4:12.85 at Tufts this past weekend. At last year's NCAA Division III Championships, Brown became the first Emory All-American, male or female, in the indoor mile, finishing eighth overall.

Prelims of all four events: 60m Dash, 200m Dash, Mile, 4x400m Relay, will take place on Friday afternoon with the finals to follow on Saturday.
