Erica Goldman Named UAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Emory University senior Erica Goldman was named the University Athletic Association Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Monday evening. It is the second time in her career she has earned the weekly honor.

Goldman excelled at Emory's first meet of the season this past Friday, placing eighth overall (top DIII performer) in the 400m Dash and ran the third leg of the Eagles' fourth place, top DIII, 4x400m Relay squad along with classmate Julia Leventhal and juniors Dilys Osei and Ariana Newhouse. Her 400m time of 58.35 was the fastest Division III time recorded so far this season while the 4x400m time of 3:58.42 also ranks first nationally as of Tuesday morning.

The Eagles return to the track on January 14th for the Alabama Striders Open, held at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, AL.
