Goldman, Bland Compete on Day Two of NCAA Championships; Bland Advances to 100m Dash Final

Senior Erica Goldman and junior Dani Bland represented the Emory University Women's Track and Field team on day two of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships on the campus of UW-La Crosse.

In the 100m Dash, Bland qualified for her second individual final and fourth overall, finishing with the second fastest preliminary time at 12.14. She will be one of nine runners to compete in tomorrow's final which is scheduled to begin at 2:40 PM EST.

Goldman competed in the 400m Dash earlier in the evening, just missing the cut for the finals with her time of 56.59 as she placed 16th in the field of 22.

The Eagles conclude the NCAA Championships on Saturday with the finals of five events. The 4x100m Relay of Bland, Goldman, junior Dilys Osei and freshman Rebekah Bondi will be first to hit the track at 1:15 PM followed by senior Gabrielle Stravach in the 1500m Run at 1:35 PM and Bland in both the 100m and 200m (3:50 PM) Dashes. The 4x400m Relay featuring Osei, Bland, Goldman and sophomore Kaitlyn Leonard will be the last event of the meet at 5:00 PM. All times listed are in Eastern Standard Time.
