Senior Greta Wilker set a new Emory women's shot put record on Friday at the Birmingham-Southern College Icebreaker indoor meet with a 12.47m heave. The throw bettered her previous record that she established last season by 0.15m. Wilker's performance earned her an eighth-place finish at the meet, which did not have any team scoring and featured a number of DI programs. The senior's mark stands as 20th-longest in DIII this young season and is second in the UAA.
