Sophomore Sydney Lemibach helped the No. 8-ranked volleyball team to three wins over South Region opponents, which raised the squad's overall record to 11-3.

The 6-foot-2 Leimbach played in all 11 sets over the three contests and averaged 2.36 kills and a team-high 0.73 blocks per set, while closing out with a hitting percentage of .345 (26-6--58). 
In a 3-0 decision over Berry College, she hit .500 on the strength of seven terminations with one error in 12 swings, and followed that with a seven-kills, three block-assists performance in a 3-2 victory over No. 20 Hendrix. In the final match of the week, a 3-0 verdict over Birmingham Southern, Leimbach paced all players with a career-high 12 kills, finishing with an attack percentage of .647 (12-1--17), and chipped in four block assists.

So far this year, she has seen action in all 50 of the team's sets and is averaging 1.82 kills and 0.68 blocks per game, with that mark second on the club.
