Emory sophomore Elyse Thompson was named to the NCAA D-III Volleyball Regional All-Tournament Team after helping the Eagles to a championship effort.
The 5-foot-7 libero averaged a team-high 4.89 digs per set, with her play a key role in limiting three opponents to a .092 hitting percentage.
Thompson paced the Eagles in digs in two matches, a 17-digs outing vs. Worcester in the quarterfinals of the Regional, followed by another 17-digs performance against Berry College in the title match. In addition, she dished out five service aces against the Vikings in aiding the team to boosting its record to 30-6.
