Senior middle Sydney Leimbach was named to the NCAA Mount Berry Volleyball All-Tournament Team after helping the No. 9-ranked Eagles to a championship effort.

The 6-foot-2 Leimbach paced the squad with an average of 3.89 kills over the nine sets of action and posted a blistering .564 attack percentage (35-4--55) as Emory swept all three foes and raised its season record to 27-6 in the process.

After ranking second on the squad with 10 terminations and hitting .588 (10-0--17) in a quarterfinal-round win over Meredith College, Leimbach hit .500 on the strength of nine terminations with just one error in 16 swings in a 25-21, 25-23, 27-25 triumph over No. 4 Colorado College. In the championship encounter vs. No. 22 Mary Hardin-Baylor, Leimbach led all players by pounding out a career-high tying 16 kills with her .591 hitting mark (16-3--22), the second-highest mark by an Emory player this year.

Heading into the national quarterfinals vs. Ithaca, Leimbach ranks seventh among UAA players with a .334 hitting percentage (218-63--464) while her 2.56 kills per set is 15th on the league ladder.
