Sophomore Leah Saunders helped the No. 12-ranked Emory volleyball team to a 3-0 record over a three-game stretch.

The 5-foot-8 Saunders averaged a team-high 3.00 kills over 10 sets of action, hitting .288 (30-11--66), and ranked second on the club in digs with a 2.60 per-set average.

She paced the Eagles in terminations in two contests, starting with a 12-kills performance that saw her finish with a glittering .370 (12-2--27) hitting performance, while chipping in a career-high 20 digs in a 3-1 decision over Lee University. After totaling eight successful attack attempts in a 3-0 win over Sewanee, Saunders closed out the weekend with a match-best 10 kills against Oglethorpe, leading the Eagles to a 3-0 triumph. Her outing against the Stormy Petrels represented her sixth match of double-figure terminations this season.
