Junior libero Elyse Thompson earned a spot on the NCAA D-III Championships All-Tournament Team after helping the Eagles to the national title.
Thompson averaged a team-high 6.30 digs and doled out four aces over 10 sets of action as Emory defeated No. 25 Ithaca in the quarterfinals, No. 6 Juniata in the semifinals and No. 1 Calvin in the title match.
She led the team in digs in all three matches including a season-high 24 against Calvin. Her defensive play helped limit the three opponents to just a .146 hitting percentage.
