Senior Lauren Bandera was a defensive stalwart for the Eagles in the libero position as she led Emory in digs in all three of the matches on the way to their conference title. Bandera totaled 49 digs across three matches including 21 in the pivotal semifinal match against No. 6 ranked NYU. She made many plays that didn't show up on that stat sheet as well keeping countless balls in play off of blocks that otherwise would have been points for the Eagles opponents.
