Senior Kaylee Slade helped the 29th-ranked Emory women's cross country team to a strong performance at the University of Montevallo Falcon Classic.
Slade was the first Eagle to cross the finish line and eighth out of 195 entries, posting a personal-best 5K time of 18:54.
Kaylee's effort helped the Eagles to a third-place finish in the 22-team field which was comprised mainly of Division II school schools along with some Division I representation.
