Emory Women's Cross Country Climbs To 17th In USTFCCCA Top 35 Poll

The Emory University women's cross country team made a big move in the Division III National Rankings released Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles jumped 11 spots from last week's rankings and hold down the No. 17 position on the list, the highest spot they have had in the poll since the third week of the 2016 season (16th).

This past weekend, Emory came through with a solid effort at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Pre-National Invitational. Competing in a field of nationally-ranked teams, the Eagles registered a 10th-place finish out of 52 teams with a score of 296 points, highlighted by senior Kaylee Slade crossing the finish line 27th out 353 entries with a 6K time of 22:44.
