The Emory men’s and women’s cross country teams are back in action on Saturday when they send representatives to the Bobcat Invitational. The meet will be held at The Farm located in Milledgeville, Ga., with Georgia College serving as the host.  The men’s 8K is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am, followed by the women’s 6K at 9:30 am.

Approximately 19 women’s squad will be competing, including Division I member Florida State University who currently is ranked 29^th nationally. A number of regionally ranked Division II programs will be hitting the course including Alabama-Huntsville, host Georgia College and the University of Montevallo.

On the men’s side, the Eagles will be one of 20 entries taking part.  The field has a number of ranked programs including Florida A&M (7^th in the South Region of D-I), Alabama-Huntsville (2^nd in South Region), UNC Pembroke (4^th in DII Southeast Region) Valdosta State (7^th in DII South Region).
