Emory Athletic Communications Job Opportunities

The Emory Athletic Communications office offers students the opportunity to work in Athletics through Federal Work Study and Institutional Employment. These positions allow students to pursue an area of personal interest, including many that are specific to their career goals. Specific knowledge of athletics is not required by all positions.

Most positions are run through the Federal Work Study program, however if an interested student does not possess a FWS award they can still be employed through institutional employment; work opportunities are the same for both. A student's award is paid in the form of a bi-monthly payroll check for time/hours worked. The awarded amount is only a budget, as each student is not guaranteed to receive the total amount of the budget, only payment for the time worked.

Listed below are the student assistant positions the Emory University Athletic Communications office looks to fill through Federal Work Study/Institutional Employment each year. If you are interested in working for the Eagles in any of these capacities, please contact a member of the Athletic Communications staff: Phil Engel - Director of Communications & Sports Information (pengel2@emory.edu) or Taylor Seay - Assistant Director for Athletic Communications (taylor.seay@emory.edu). Applications for these positions can also be accepted through Handshake.
