Drew Williams Named Emory Interim Head Strength And Conditioning Coach

Drew Williams has been appointed as Emory Athletics Interim Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.  The announcement was made by Senior Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator Joyce Jaleel.  

In his role, he will oversee the strength and conditioning efforts the department's 19 intercollegiate sports. Williams originally joined the Emory Athletics staff as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2016 while obtaining his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State University.  In May of 2018, he was named Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Drew received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida. He started at UCF as an intern/volunteer and quickly became a part-time Strength and Conditioning Assistant Coach, working with football, track and field, cross country, rowing and cheer.

Williams is CSCS, CPR and AED certified.
