Tristan Reaves Named Coordinator of Student-Athlete Success Programs

Tristan Reaves, who has served as Emory's Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach since March 2021, has been named the new Coordinator of Student-Athlete Success Programs as part of the Eagle Edge team. He will begin his new role on September 1.

"Tristan is a student-athlete developer in everything he does," says Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success and Compliance Audrey Hester. "The impact that Tristan will have in his new role will elevate the student-athlete experience to new heights, preparing our athletes for success in sport and in life."

The position was created through the NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's grant, which is awarded to approximately 20 Division III conference offices or schools that are committed to enhancing ethnic minority and gender representation/success in intercollegiate athletics administrative positions.

In his new position with the Eagle Edge, Tristan will lead student-athlete development programming which includes personal and professional development, leadership development and market readiness.

The Eagle Edge is Emory Athletics holistic student-athlete development program that provides student-athletes the support they need to grow, succeed, and standout during their time at Emory and beyond.

In addition he will continue his strength and conditioning duties, working with the Emory men's and women's golf teams as well as divers from the Eagles' swimming & diving program.
