Eight student-athletes have been chosen as members of the Emory University Class of 2023 100 Senior Honorary as announced earlier this month.
The 100 Senior Honorary is an award and designation presented by the Emory Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Association. The honor is given to the 100 most outstanding seniors in the undergraduate schools. Graduates of Oxford College, Emory College, Goizueta Business School, and the School of Nursing are represented in the 100 Senior Honorary. The students selected have made a significant impact on the Emory Community through academics, athletics, leadership, volunteerism, or even through personal relationships such as mentoring or helping other students.
Representatives from Emory Athletics who were selected as 100 Senior Honorary include:
Lucas Bumgarner – Swimming & Diving
Rose Gertzman – Swimming & Diving
Anna Glowniak – Swimming & Diving
Caroline Maki – Swimming & Diving
Dubem Nnake – Men's Basketball
Claire Brock – Women's Basketball
Thomas Davis – Track & Field
David Gibbons – Track & Field
The 100 Senior Honorary recipients are chosen by a selection committee comprised of at least 8-12 administrators and staff from the academic and campus life areas. This committee also receives input from former inductees, alumni board members and trustees. This year's ceremony is set to take place on February 8.
