While there are no former regional winners on the current roster, the Eagles are led by head coach Bridget Disher and assistant coach Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico, who both won multiple ITA Regional Championships during their time as players at Emory. Ten wins to start a season is tied for the fifth best start in program history and two wins off tying the program record for best starts set in 2015. The Eagles have won 30 of the 35 sets they have played in and have only been forced to a fifth set in one match this season.

The Eagles will be tested this weekend, as they take on in-state rival No. 13 Berry on the road. The two programs have traded blows for the past couple of years, with Berry having the upper hand as of late winning three of the last five meetings.

Wagner will look to add another clean sheet to his game log this weekend against one of the nation's top teams and UAA foe.
