Emory

Courtney Bossong joined the Emory Department of Athletics as the Coordinator for Memberships and External Operations in May of 2018. She is responsible for the memberships and external rentals at the George W. Woodruff Physical Education Center and assists with the Student Activity and Academic Center.  She will be directly involved in the day-to-day oversight of the membership services student staff and operations.

Courtney earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts Family Studies with a minor in Recreation, Parks and Leisure from Central Michigan University in 2016. She obtained her Masters of Sport and Recreation Administration from University of Mississippi in May 2018.

Bossong comes to Emory after serving as a Graduate Assistant for Facility Operations at the University of Mississippi.  In that capacity, she had been involved in managing the memberships, space reservations, supervising student staff and locker rentals.  Prior to that post, she had served in several roles at Central Michigan University as the Program Coordinator for Programs and Intramurals, Program Coordinator for Memberships, and as a Guest Services Representative.

Courtney is certified as an American Red Cross CPR/AED Instructor. She is also a member of the Mississippi Intramural and Recreational Association and is serving as the Mississippi State Student Leader 2017-2018.  She is a member of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association.
