Jake Forker joined the Emory Athletics Department as an athletic trainer in June of 2018.

Jake came to Atlanta after serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Alief Taylor High School in Houston, Texas, a position he held since 2011.  At Alief Taylor, he coordinated all athletic training services for 21 sports, 40 teams and over 800 student athletes. From 2008 to 2011, Jake was the Head Athletic Trainer at Menomonee Falls High School in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There he led the day-to-day athletic training program operations and services for 27 sports and over 500 student athletes.

Jake completed a summer internship with the Houston Texans in 2002 and 2003 and a season-long internship with the Washington Redskins during the 2007-2008 NFL season.

Forker received his Masters of Education in Physical Education emphasis in Sport Administration from the University of Houston in 2007. At Houston he was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer  with Football and Baseball. Jake received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2004 where he worked with Men’s Basketball, Football, Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, and Men’s Tennis.
