Emory University senior catcher Jacob Greene was named to the D3Baseball.com National Team of the Week Tuesday night after leading the Eagles to a 3-1 week against USA South opponents.

Greene drove in a team-high 10 runs, leading the club to wins over Piedmont and Covenant. Greene batted 6-for-14 with seven runs, a stolen base, two doubles, a triple and home run in his four starts. He led all Emory batters with a .929 slugging percentage and was second with a .500 on-base percentage. All 10 of his RBI came in two wins, first driving in five on Friday at the Scots before equaling the mark in the final game of the Covenant series as he had a season-high three hits (3-for-3), falling a triple short of the cycle in the 20-8 drubbing.

The Emory baseball program returns to the diamond this weekend with a three-game set against the University of Mary Washington. First game of the series is set for a 2:00 PM first pitch Friday afternoon at Chappell Park.
