Freshman Connor Yakubov was Emory's top performer at the Navy Spring Invitational, which represented the Eagles' final regular-season event of the season.
With the 10-team field comprised mainly of Division I players, Yakubov finished second out of 60-players with a 36-hole score of 141 (68-73) over the the 6,611-yard, par-71 Naval Academy Golf Course.
Yakubov's score represented the 10th-best score ever by an Eagle for a 36-hole tournament, with his opening-day effort tying the sixth-best round by an Emory in program history.
Yakubov is averaging a team-best 74.1 strokes over 19 rounds of play this year.
