Sophomore Matt Organisak helped the No. 3-ranked Eagles' golf team a first-place finish at the Discover DeKalb Emory Spring Invitational (Apr. 7-8) at the Smoke Rise Country Club.

Organisak played his way to all-tournament honors after pacing the squad and ranking third out of 83-players with a 36-hole score of even-par 140. After posting a two-over 72 on the first day of action, Organisak carded a 68 over the final 18 holes, his 10th effort of par or better this season in 17 rounds of competition.

To date, Organisak is averaging a team-best 72.8 strokes per round on the year.
