Emory sophomore Matt Organisak (Sudbury, MA) has been selected by the University Athletic Association as Golfer of the Week following his performances at the
conference championships and the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.  It is the second time this season and third in his career that he has landed the award.  

Organisak was named to the UAA Championships All-Tournament Team after winning match-play outings against NYU's Christopher Nolte in the team's 4-1 victory in the semifinals, followed by a triumph against Adrian Del Bosque in the Eagles' 3.5-1.5 outcome over Carnegie Mellon in the title match. At Jekyll Island, Organisak was the squad's top performer and tied for 11th out of 150 players with a 54-hole score of two-under 214 (71-71-72).

So far this year, Organisak is average 72.3 strokes over 15 rounds of competition.

The No. 6-ranked Eagles resume play, Mar. 26-27, when they compete at the Huntingdon College Spring Invitational in Montgomery, Alabama.
