Junior Matt Organisak helped the No. 2-ranked Emory golf team to a first-place finish at the NCAA D-III Preview. The 54-hole tournament was held on the 7,190-yard, par-72 Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
Organisak garnered all-tournament acclaim after ranking as the Eagles' top performer, while finishing runner-up in the 90-player field, with a score of one-under par 215 (72-71-72), tying the school's individual ninth-best mark for a three-round competition. His one-under score of 71 during the second round represented the 18th time in his career that he shot par or better.
