The B team of the Emory University golf program closed out its participation at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.  The 36-hole tournament was played on the 6,695-yard, par-72 Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome, Georgia.

The Eagles shot a score of 302 over their final 18 holes to finish at 600, tying them with LaGrange College for fourth place out of 19 teams. Central Alabama Community College took home first place at one-under par 575 (286-289), 10 shots better that host Berry College (291-294—585).  The Ogelthorpe University B side finished third, four shots ahead of Emory and LaGrange.

Freshman Andrew DiPetrillo was the story of the day for Emory, carding the best score out the 99 competitors with a five-under par 67. DiPetrillo came up with six birdies and just one bogey on Tuesday, zooming up 25 spots on the leaderboard to end up tied for third in the final standings at two-under par 142.  For his efforts, DiPetrillo earned a spot on the all-tournament team.  Freshman Max Schwarz and sophomore Davis Hingtgen each shot 76, with Schwarz tying for ninth overall at 146 while Hingtgen stood 27th with an effort of 150. Senior Anthony Muscato rounded out the team's scorers on Tuesday with an 83 to finish at 162.  Junior Leo Rich shot an 86 to register a 168.

Reed Love of Central Alabama CC was the medalist at five-under par 139 (71-68).

The Chick-fil-A Collegiate wrapped up Emory's fall portion of the schedule. The Eagles break out the clubs next, Mar. 4-5, at the Tournament at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
