Junior Eric Yiu has been selected as the University Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week following his performance at the NCAA DIII Fall Preview.  It is the third time in his career that he has been honored by the league.  The 54-hole competition was conducted on the 6,902-yard, par-72 PGA National Champions Course in Palm Beach Gardens Florida.

Yiu helped the No. 2-ranked Eagles to a first-place finish out of 18 teams.  He finished as the Eagles' top scorer and tied for third place in the 90-player field with a 54-hole effort of even-par 216 (76-73-67). Yiu's final round performance of five-under 67, which featured six birdies, was the second-best individual mark of the day and represented his second-best career score.  Yiu, along with Matt Organisak and Max Schwarz garnered berths on the Preview All-Tournament Team.

Emory paced the 18-team field with a 10-over par 874 (302-287-285), seven shots better than runner-up Illinois Wesleyan.

Career-wise, Yiu has shot par or better in 19 of his 49 career rounds.

Emory returns to action, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 when it takes part in the Gordin Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
