The Emory University men's 'B' side golf team concluded its final round of competition on Tuesday at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational.  The 36-hole tourney was played on the 6,758-yard, par-72 Stonebridge Golf Club in nearby Rome.

The Eagles wound up the Invitational tied with the Berry College 'B' Team for eighth place out of 19 teams with a final score of 617 (302-315).  LaGrange College captured first-place honors at 13-over par 589 (285-304) while Huntingdon College was runner-up with a 594 (288-306). The Berry 'A' Team was third at 597 (301-296) while Birmingham Southern College's 607 (300-307) was fourth.

Emory freshman Michael Rosenbloom played his way to co-medalist honors with Ben Womack of LaGrange College after posting a score of even-par 144 (70-74).  Rosenbloom was the Eagles' top performer each day, finishing the tournament with a total of seven birdies.  Junior Davis Hingtgen shot a 78 on Tuesday to close at 151, tying for 14th place in the 101-player field. Freshman Grant Drogosch shot his second straight 80 en route to finishing with a 160 while senior Leo Rich totaled a final score of 162 (79-83).
