The Emory University men's golf team continued play at the Golfweek Invitational on Saturday, wrapping up second-round action.  The 54-hole tournament is being played on the 6.755-yard, par-72 El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort in Howie-in-the Hills, Florida.

The No. 4-ranked Eagles closed out the day with a score of 305 and find themselves in fourth position out of 12 teams with a total of 609.  No. 2-ranked Methodist claims the top spot at 584 (299-285) while No. 3 Huntingdon in second with a showing of 595 (305-290).  No. 8 Carnegie Mellon is two shots ahead of Emory at 607 (299-308).

Junior Max Schwarz was Emory's top performer during the second round, notching a one-over par 73 that included three birdies.  Junior Logan Ryan carded a 75 while senior Davis Hingtgen logged a 78.  Sophomore Grant Drogosch and freshman Logan Lowery concluded the day at 79.

Through 36 holes, Ryan tops the squad and is tied for 10th place out of 60 players with a score of five-over par 149 (74-75).  Schwarz is tied for 13th, one shot behind at 150 (77-73) while Hingtgen is deadlocked for 21st with a mark of 154 (76-78).

Methodist University's Henry Ager (74-69—143) and Andre Chi (73-70—143) sit atop the leader board.

The final round of the Golfweek Invitational will be held on Sunday.
