Senior Max Schwarz helped lead the Eagles to a first place finish at the Tartan Invitational in Ligonier, Pennsylvania this past week. Schwarz scored a three-over par 219 (71-73-75) at the 54-hole, par-72 tournament which was good for a tie for second place individual finish in the field of 66 golfers. The 13 birdies Schwarz hit over the course of the tournament led the field. Schwarz's performance helped lead the No. 3 ranked Eagles to a victory over nine teams ranked in the GCAA Coaches Poll including No. 1 Methodist.
