Freshman (2021-22):

In his first season with the Eagles, Li proved himself to be an immensely valuable member of the 2021-22 squad… Finished fourth on the team with an average of 73.1 strokes per round in 20 rounds played… His scoring average is the sixth best in a season and best ever by a freshman in program history… The third Eagle in program history to be named the UAA Rookie of the Year… Earned an All-American Honorable Mention nod… Named to the All-Region Team… Tabbed to be on the All-UAA Second Team… Recorded three top ten finishes in the seven tournaments he competed in this season… Registered a 301 (76-75-77-73) at the NCAA Championships which saw him finish fifth amongst the Emory contingent and tied for 34th overall on the way to a fifth place finish as a team… Competing in the finals against NYU at the UAA Championships, Li secured a 4 & 3 victory at the number two spot to help the Eagles win their fifth consecutive conference title… Competing at the Chick-fil-A Invitational, Li posted his best performance of the season finishing in fifth place and his first round score of 68 marked his personal best and tied for the fifth best single round score in program history… Li finished as the Eagles top scorer at the Savannah Invitational where his scorecard of 215 (72-74-69) saw him close the tournament tied for 13th… In his first ever collegiate tournament at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational, Li recorded a third place finish for the Eagles and sixth place overall after carding a 211 (69-71-71)… Also competed at the Jekyll Collegiate Invitational (217, T-30th), The Division III Showcase (154, T-61st) and the Discover Dekalb Emory Invitational (222).
