Freshman (2021-22):

An important addition to the team, Qian had a rock-solid freshman season in which he played 17 rounds over the course of seven tournaments… Averaged 74.6 strokes per round the seventh best mark on the team… One of two freshman named to the All-Region team… Best round of the season came during the second round of the NCAA DIII Fall Preview when he scored a 68 which helped him to finish tied for 19th… His highest finish of the season came at the Chick-fil-A Invitational where he finished in an eleventh place tie and fourth on Emory after carding a 145 (73-72)… At the Wabash Invitational in the fall, Qian registered a 200 (76-71-73) that saw him finish tied for 15th and fourth for the Eagles… Competing as an individual at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, Qian logged a 149 (76-73)… Also competed at the Tartan Invitational (236, T-28th), the weather shortened Shorter Hawk Invitational (76) and the Discover Dekalb Emory Invitational (225).
