Junior Adam Gigax led the Emory men's basketball team in scoring as the Eagles split a pair of contests.

The 6-foot-7 Gigax averaged 20.5 points and grabbed 4.5 rebounds in affairs against Oglethorpe University and the University of Rochester.  Gigax connected on 50 percent (15 of 30) of his field goal tries and 43.8 percent (7 of 16) from three-point range.

Gigax topped all players with 27 points, his second-highest career total, in a 93-68 decision over Oglethorpe University, concluding that outing sinking a career-high tying 11-of-17 field goal attempts, which included five triples in 10 opportunities.  In the UAA opener vs. Rochester, he topped the team's scoring effort with 14 points and tied for squad honors with five rebounds.

Through 12 games, Gigax is averaging a team-best 18.8 points per game.
