Nick Stuck

Sophomore Nick Stuck played a key role in helping the Emory men's basketball team to a pair of road wins, allowing the Eagles to remain in a tie for first place in the league.

The 6-foot-2 Stuck averaged a team-high 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in victories over Brandeis and New York University. In addition, he shot 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from the field and 87.5 percent (7-of-8) from the foul line.

In an 88-64 triumph over Brandeis, Stuck was second on the club in scoring with a career-high 18 points, sinking eight field goals in nine tries, including his lone three-point attempt, and one free throw. He also contributed five rebounds to the cause. He followed that performance with a 14-point (second high on the squad)-, four-assists outing in a 75-67 decision over NYU. Stuck sank four-of-eight from the field and all six free throw attempts in notching his sixth double-figure scoring performance of the year.

Through games played Feb. 3, Stuck ranks third among UAA players in assists average (4.7 apg) and is first in assist/turnover ratio (+3.1).
