Schner landed First Team honors for a third consecutive season and was voted the outright Player of the Year after garnering Co-Player of the Year honors in 2020. He is just the second Eagle ever to win Player of the Year twice in a career and the sixth to ever do so in UAA history. Schner was unstoppable during UAA games, scoring 15 points or more in every game and averaged 24.8 points per game in conference play. Schner finished the regular season with a 10-game streak of 20 points or more including three games over 30, highlighted by a career-high 39 points February 18 against Case Western Reserve as Emory clinched the UAA's automatic NCAA bid. He led all UAA players with 23.1 PPG this season (T-11th in Division III) and ranked inside the top-5 in the conference in rebounding (3rd, 8.4 RPG), assists (5th, 3.4 APG), steals (3rd, 1.5 SPG) and was ninth in the league in field goal percentage (54.1%) and 10th in three-point percentage (39.1). Schner was a five-time UAA Athlete of the Week selection, the most by any player, and was a three-time D3hoops.com Team of the Week pick, tied for the most men's honors in Division III.

For Stuck, this marks his first-ever All-UAA First Team selection after earning Second Team honors as a junior. Stuck racked up double-digit scoring performances in all 14 UAA games including three games over 20 points. He totaled nine conference games with six or more assists, finishing second in the league with 6.0 assists per game (T-14th in Division III) and averaged 6.4 APG during the UAA schedule. Stuck is currently averaging a career-best 14.1 PPG and had a career-high 25 points in the overtime win over Carnegie Mellon on February 20. He ended the regular season with a league-best 3.1 assist/turnover ratio, the ninth-best mark among all Division III players, and was seventh in the UAA with 1.3 steals per game.

For Zimmerman, it is the sixth time he and his staff have been selected as the UAA's Coaching Staff of the Year, having previously won the award in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019. The Eagles won their third straight UAA title and sixth under Zimmerman, winning the league by 3.5 games for the largest margin between first and second place in the final standings since the 2013-14 season. Emory won 12 games in the league, the fourth straight season with 11 or more wins in the UAA and tied the second most wins in conference play in team history.

The No. 12 ranked Eagles take on USA South champion Averett University in the First Round of the NCAA tournament Friday night at 7:10 PM inside the Woodruff PE Center.
