The Emory University Men's Swimming and Diving team added two more national championships to its ledger on Thursday night as the 2018 Division III Championships continued in Indianapolis, IN.
The Eagles swept both relay events on the evening to bring their total to five national titles through two days of competition. Halfway through the meet, Emory finds itself in second place with 200 points, trailing only Denison University (325.5) in the team standings.
The Eagles led off the evening by winning their third straight title in the 200 Freestyle Relay as sophomore Sage Ono, junior Trey Kolleck and seniors Aaron Schwartz and Oliver Smith recorded a winning time of 1:18.61. During preliminaries, the foursome broke the school record, posting a time of 1:18.57.

To close out the meet, Emory won its third relay title of the meet as Ono, Smith, Kolleck and senior Cooper Tollen claimed the top spot in the event with a time of 3:13.97. The win marked the second straight in the event and third overall for the Eagles.

Junior Thomas Gordon turned in his second consecutive third place showing and third top-four finish in the 200 Freestyle, touching in a time of 1:37.41 as he recorded Emory's third All-America finish of the night. Smith added Honorable Mention honors for the Eagles, taking 12th in the 100 Butterfly at 49.01.
The 2018 NCAA DIII Championships continue on Friday with the 200 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke and the 800 Freestyle Relay. Prelims begin at 10:00 AM with the finals starting at 6:00 PM.
