Freshman Lucas Bumgarner secured first and second place showings at the NCAA Region 2 Championships over the weekend to earn a berth to the NCAA Championships later this month. Bumgarner topped the 500 mark in both events, recording a career-high 518.95 score to win the 1-meter on Friday before finishing second with a score of 526.80 in the 3-meter on Saturday.
