Title: Interim Diving Coach

Matt Rohrer has been announced as the Emory Swimming & Diving Interim Diving Coach for the 2021-22 season, effective July 2021. He served as a volunteer assistant coach with the team during the 2019-20 season.

Rohrer was four-year member of the Tufts University swimming and diving team, graduating in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in Classical Studies and Italian. As a member of the Jumbos, he was a three-time All-American in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events as well as an Honorable Mention All-American once on both boards. In addition, he was a five-time NESCAC champion.

Following his diving career, Rohrer served as the assistant diving coach with Tufts in 2017-18 where he saw the men’s team capture its first-ever NESCAC team title. He is currently heading into his third year at Emory Law and works for a matrimonial law firm, Rabin Schumann and Partners LLP, in New York City.
