Jemison Captures ITA South Region Singles Crown -- Bouchet & Wanner Win Doubles

Final Singles and Doubles Results

Emory junior Jonathan Jemison captured the singles title and junior Adrien Bouchet and freshman Will Wanner the doubles crown on the final day of action at the ITA South Region Championships. The event was held at the Rome Tennis Center and hosted by Berry College.

Jemison opened with a 7-6, 6-3, triumph over freshman teammate Hayden Cassone in the semifinals before defeating sophomore Rex Serituk, 6-4, 6-2, in the championship match. It marked Jemison's second straight appearance in the Regional singles final and first crown.  Emory has now won 11 of the last 12 ITA South Region singles titles.

Bouchet and Wanner prevailed over Jemison and Cassone in the finals, 7-6, 6-4.

By virtue of their first-place finishes, Jemison, Bocuhet and Wanner all earn All-America honors, and advance to the ITA Oracle Cup, Oct. 11-15, at the Rome Tennis Center.
