The No. 3-ranked Emory University men's tennis program has been selected as one of the 43 teams to participate in the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships.  The Eagles will host the second and third rounds of action this Friday and Saturday (May 10-11).  It marks the 30th consecutive year that Emory has advanced to the NCAA Tournament. 

Emory (17-2) begins action on Friday by battling Washington and Lee University, championships of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and owners of a 15-7 record.  Following that match, No. 20 Sewanee (22-6) clashes with 23rd-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan.  The two winners advance to Saturday's Regional Final

Over the past 29 years the Eagles have advanced to at least the quarterfinals on 27 occasions.
Emory has earned a spot in the national semifinals in 13 of the past 17 seasons has won national crowns in 2003, 2006, 2012, and 2017.

Emory is one of three University Athletic Association schools competing in this year's NCAA Tournament.  Conference schools who will be joining the Eagles include No. 7 Washington University and No. 2 Chicago.

Kalamazoo College will host the team championship finals as well as the Singles and Doubles Championships, which will be held May 20-26 at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Emory last played the weekend of Apr. 26-28 when it captured the UAA Championships in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Eagles topped New York University, 5-0, in the quarterfinals before posting a 5-3 triumph over Wash U in semifinals.  In the title tilt, Emory came away with a 5-1 verdict over Brandeis.
