Emory University men's tennis senior Antonio Mora fell in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Singles Championship Friday morning. The NCAA Individual Championships are being held at the UTSA National Campus in Orlando, FL.

Going up against the No. 3 seed James Hopper from Case Western Reserve, Mora took the opening set by a 7-5 margin. However, it was Hopper that was the aggressor over the next two sets as he defeated Mora 6-1, 6-2 to bounce the senior from the draw.

Mora concludes his season with an 11-15 overall record in singles and was one of three Eagles to earn either First or Second Team All-UAA acclaim.

The NCAA Individual Championships continue Friday evening for the men's tennis program as senior Andrew Esses and sophomore Nolan Shah match up against George Fox's Will Leach and Luke Lemaitre in the first round of the doubles draw.
