Emory Men's Track & Field Compete at KMS Invitational

The Emory University Men's Track and Field team resumed the indoor season Sunday afternoon with the KMS Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama. There was no team scoring at the meet.

Senior Brandon Cromer clocked in a personal season-best time of 2:01.41 in the 800m Run, finishing 32nd overall while classmate Kyle Veator led the Eagles in both the 60m Dash (41st, 7.23) and 200m Dash (37th, 22.94).

In the 60m Hurdles, junior Benjamin Rogin came in 11th overall with a time 8.60 and in the 400m Dash, junior Robert Wilhelm III turned in a time of 52.64 to finish 45th overall.

Junior Charlie Hu was 12th in the triple jump at 13.39m and was 19th in long jump at 6.32 to pace the Eagles in the field events. Sophomore Zachary Lembersky added a 12th place effort in the weight throw with a distance of 13.46m

Emory returns to action next weekend as the team ventures back to Johnson City, Tennessee for the Buccaneer Invitational at East Tennessee State University on Friday and Saturday, February 3rd and 4th.
