Hurricane Florence has nixed the Emory men’s and women’s cross country teams planned trip to the Furman Classic with the host school cancelling the competition due to the anticipated severe impact of the storm. 

Emory Head Coach John Curtin has adjusted the schedule and will be sending both squads to take part in the University of Montevallo (AL) Classic. The men’s 8K is slated to begin at 8:00 am (CDT) while the women’s 5K has a 9:00 am start time.

The men’s side are ranked 24^th in the Division III in this week’s USTCCCA rankings while the women are 29^th.
